Hi! I'm Nicole

Our house is loud, busy and usually a little chaotic. One of my favorite ways to slow it all down is sitting in my garden in the evening, blowing bubbles and watching my chickens wander around the yard, blasting some of our favorite music around a giant bonfire, or putting a movie or football game on the projector screen. I also have a habit of dreaming up projects much larger than necessary, which is exactly how I ended up with a 1,300-square-foot garden that I absolutely did not manage to keep alive. We did, however, get enough out of it for my youngest to make the best salsa I've ever eaten, and a few bouquets of flowers, so I'm still calling it a win!

Spring means you'll find me spending a LOT of time at a baseball field. I'm usually cheering for one of my boys while also trying to make sure every player in our homeschool baseball organization gets their moment in front of my camera. I also run the social media for all three of our teams—Middle School, JV and Varsity—which means I'm usually creating player graphics and game-day flyers, posting updates, and finding yet another excuse to turn the photos I take into something special for these kids and their families. When I finally sit still, give me a cozy mystery, a rom-com, an audiobook or a Lifetime movie with just enough murder and mystery to keep things interesting while I edit.
